The price of ornamental gold in Chennai has seen a significant reduction, with a sovereign decreasing by Rs. 560. Following this adjustment, one gram of gold is now being sold at Rs. 13,330. Consequently, a sovereign (8 grams) is priced at Rs. 106,640. In the retail market, silver prices have also fallen. A gram of silver is now available for Rs. 245, marking a decrease of Rs. 5 per gram.
