Delhi has also set a record as the team with the lowest score in the powerplay (1-6 overs) in IPL history. They had scored 13 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. This is the first time in IPL history that two bowlers have taken 3 wickets each within the powerplay in a single innings. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets for just 5 runs in 3 overs. Hazlewood took 3 wickets for 8 runs in 3 overs. However, Abhishek Porel and David Miller, who came to bat afterwards, managed to hold on to some extent and helped the team cross 49 runs. This is because it is the lowest score ever made by a team in IPL history.
