Leader of the Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin has accused the Chief Minister of ignoring the demands of Tamil Nadu farmers regarding the Mekedatu project. He alleged that the Chief Minister is failing to address the concerns of both the opposition and the farming community out of fear that taking a firm stance might negatively impact his film revenue in Karnataka.
Stalin warned that any further delay in resolving the Mekedatu issue would severely jeopardize the livelihoods of farmers across Tamil Nadu.
