The Madras High Court Madurai Bench has ordered police to take immediate action against YouTuber Bismi for circulating morphed images of politician Seeman on social media. Justice Victoria Gowri, who presided over the matter, also directed authorities to ensure the removal of the offensive content from online platforms.
During the proceedings, Justice Gowri remarked that Seeman is an unavoidable leader in Tamil Nadu. The judge questioned the police department's approach, asking why they fail to take action regarding derogatory content against Seeman while promptly acting against those who speak out against Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
