The Tamil Nadu government has announced the launch of the 'Singapengal Development Scheme' following a review meeting chaired by the Chief Minister. The initiative is designed to provide financial support to young women and marginalized sections of society.
Under this program, the state government has allocated Rs 7,000 crore to be distributed as loans. The funding will also be extended to support self-help groups across the state.
