Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) officials are conducting raids at 41 locations across Tamil Nadu following allegations of irregularities within the state-run TASMAC liquor retail network. The operation, which began today, targets various warehouses and manufacturing facilities linked to the department.
Key sites under investigation include TASMAC warehouses in Erode, Pollachi, and several locations in Coimbatore, specifically Peelamedu, Narasimhanaickenpalayam, and Navakkarai. Additionally, officials are searching the Sivas liquor manufacturing plant in Mettupalayam and a distillery in Mannargudi owned by T.R. Baalu.
