The Supreme Court has ordered the Tamil Nadu government to surrender 151 super-specialty medical seats to the central quota. The Doctors' Association has strongly condemned the state government, citing administrative failure as the primary reason for this loss.
The association alleged that the state government failed to ensure its senior counsel appeared in court to contest the case. Consequently, the state was unable to oppose the transfer of these seats to the All India Quota.
