The Madras High Court has ordered the immediate release of Udhayanidhi in response to a petition challenging his arrest. Justice Ilanthiraiyan issued the directive during the hearing of the case.
During the proceedings, the prosecution stated that there was no intention to remand the petitioner in custody. The High Court subsequently directed Udhayanidhi to provide full cooperation to the police throughout the ongoing investigation.
