MDMK MLAs Rajendran and Senthilselvan have leveled serious allegations against party leader Vaiko, claiming he pressured them to resign from their positions. The legislators alleged that Vaiko attempted to entice them by suggesting they could secure ministerial berths if they contested again with the support of the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK).
Furthermore, the MLAs accused Durai Vaiko of spreading defamatory claims that they had been bought off. In response, they announced their decision to remain as DMK-aligned MLAs, stating that they are acting in accordance with the wishes of their constituents.
