Several police officers fainted due to extreme heat during a ceremonial parade held in Puducherry in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu. The incident, which occurred during the presentation of the President's Colour to the Puducherry Police, caused a brief disruption at the event.
Ten officers were promptly attended to and transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also in attendance at the ceremony, where the health-related incident drew significant attention.
