Rajalakshmi Engineering College in Thandalam, Kanchipuram district, has announced an indefinite closure until further notice. The decision follows a series of tragic incidents on campus involving students.
A female student died by suicide at the college yesterday. This was followed by a separate incident today, in which a male student attempted to jump from the college building. In light of these events, the administration has suspended all classes indefinitely.
