DVAC FIR against KN Nehru

The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) has registered a case regarding alleged irregularities in tenders within the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department. The FIR, filed under crime number 7/2026, invokes various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the Prevention of Corruption Act.

As part of the ongoing investigation, officials conducted searches at 30 locations across Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Erode, and Tiruppur on September 5, 2026. During these operations, authorities seized 241 incriminating documents and various pieces of electronic evidence related to the tender irregularities. The case remains under active investigation.
