DMK MP Kanimozhi has condemned the TVK government for allegedly using police force to suppress relatives and members of the public protesting for justice following the death of a student named Thamizhselvan. She stated that while post-mortem reports reportedly indicate evidence of physical assault and murder, the police are arresting protesters instead of apprehending the actual perpetrators.
Kanimozhi further accused the TVK administration of acting as a "corrupt government" that chooses to oppress grieving families rather than taking decisive action against the criminals responsible for the student's death.
