Mankind Pharma has awarded Rs 1 crore to Captain Smith Machar, an Indian pilot who saved the lives of approximately 180 passengers aboard a FlyDubai flight. The company presented the incentive to Captain Machar and his family in recognition of the extraordinary courage, composure, and sense of responsibility he demonstrated during a critical in-flight emergency.
This financial reward serves as a tribute to the pilot's professional conduct under pressure, which ensured the safety of all individuals on board.
