DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Vijay while campaigning for party candidate Suganya in Dharapuram. Udhayanidhi accused the Chief Minister of adopting a facade of silence, noting that while Vijay is known for his loud rhetoric on stage, he has remained mute in the legislative assembly and appears unfamiliar with the names of his own cabinet ministers.
Udhayanidhi further criticized the TVK candidate in Dharapuram, warning voters that the individual might defect after the election. He urged the public to support the DMK candidate, Suganya, a qualified lawyer, while labeling those who left the DMK alliance as traitors. He also condemned the current administration for failing to address rising prices, power outages, and the lack of employment opportunities under the 100-day work scheme.
Concluding his address, Udhayanidhi alleged that law and order in Tamil Nadu has deteriorated. He described the Chief Minister as a coward who lacks the courage to answer public questions, asserting that the government has failed to govern effectively.
