Puducherry state is severely experiencing a shortage of commercial gas cylinders. Due to this, affected tea shop owners have decided to double the prices of tea and coffee.
A cup of tea, currently sold for Rs. 10, will now be sold for Rs. 20, and coffee, which was available for Rs. 15, will be sold for Rs. 30. Shop owners have announced that this new pricing will come into effect from April 14.
