Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar responded to the question of when bypolls for seven constituencies will be held during an interaction with journalists in Delhi.
He said, "There are cases pending in courts against holding bypolls in Tamil Nadu; only after taking those court cases into account can bypolls be held in Tamil Nadu."
