Preeti Pawar and Jaismine Lamboria continued India's dream run in boxing at CWG 2026 by winning a gold medal each today. On the other hand, India produced a 1-2 finish in the men's F57 shot put event, with Soman Rana clinching gold and Shubham Juyal bagging silver.
Meanwhile, Praveen Chithravel won silver, while Selva Prabhu Thirumaran clinched bronze in the men's triple jump event. India has won a total of 30 medals so far (eight gold, 15 silver, and seven bronze).
The nation looks to add more medals to its tally, with seven more boxers to play their finals. Judokas and athletes will also be in action on Day 10 of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
