DMK leader M.K. Stalin has criticized the Tamil Nadu agriculture budget, describing it as a mere rebranding exercise intended to label the Dravidian model government's schemes as successes. He alleged that the budget ignores the issue of drought and is instead being used to praise the Chief Minister.
Stalin stated that the budget offers no benefits to delta farmers, who are currently awaiting government assistance following the failure of the Kuruvai cultivation. He dismissed the document as an empty budget that neglects the welfare of the farming community.
Asserting that DMK members will continue to raise farmers' demands in the legislative assembly, Stalin urged the government to wake up from its slumber and provide effective solutions to the problems faced by farmers.
