Opposition leader Udhayanidhi Stalin spoke with the family of Amudhan, a college student recently murdered in Coimbatore, to offer his condolences. During the telephone conversation, he assured the family that he would take necessary steps to ensure the perpetrators face legal consequences.
According to the victim's parents, Udhayanidhi Stalin also confirmed that he intends to raise the issue of the student's murder during the legislative assembly session scheduled for February 17.
