India has dispatched 10 tonnes of humanitarian assistance and essential medicines to Nepal following devastating flash floods along the Nepal-Tibet border. The relief supplies were transported via an Indian Air Force C-130J aircraft, which departed from the Hindon airbase near Delhi on Wednesday night.
The aid mission follows a conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nepalese counterpart Balendra Shah, during which India pledged full support for rescue and relief efforts. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar confirmed the delivery, emphasizing India's solidarity with the victims of the disaster.
