Naam Tamilar Katchi chief coordinator Seeman has strongly condemned Sholavandan MLA Karuppaiah for his recent remarks regarding Jallikattu in the Legislative Assembly. Seeman stated that labeling the traditional sport of the Tamil people as an activity that ruins the youth is unacceptable.
Questioning the motive behind the criticism, Seeman asked why it was necessary to disparage a cultural tradition while seeking funds for a sugar mill. He asserted that such comments are highly condemnable.
