Leader of the Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin has urged authorities to grant permission for a peaceful memorial meeting to mark the ninth anniversary of Anitha, who campaigned against the NEET examination. Stalin stated that denying permission for such gatherings in a democratic country is unacceptable.
In response, Minister Adhav Arjuna clarified that the request was declined due to concerns regarding law and order. The Minister emphasized that the decision was based solely on security considerations and contains no political motives.
