The resolution emphasizes the status of Tamil as a primary language, with the Chief Minister asserting that the language is deeply intertwined with the life and sentiments of the people.
Highlighting that Tamil is already utilized in administration, education, and district courts, the Chief Minister noted that existing laws permit its use for specific official functions. The proposed resolution specifically seeks to ensure that all High Court judgments, decrees, and official orders are issued in Tamil.
