DMK Deputy General Secretary Kanimozhi has accused the TVK government of resorting to defamation and diversionary tactics because it is unable to politically confront the DMK in the legislative assembly. She specifically alleged that the government is attempting to target DMK Principal Secretary and Deputy Leader of the Opposition, K.N. Nehru, as an act of extreme political vendetta.
Kanimozhi asserted that the DMK will never bow to threats or investigations. She further stated that the party remains undeterred by what she described as the TVK government's anti-democratic abuse of power, which she claims is intended to stifle the voice of the opposition.
