Manithaneya Makkal Katchi leader M.H. Jawahirullah has accused Chief Minister Vijay of overstepping boundaries with his recent remarks. Jawahirullah noted that while former Chief Ministers J. Jayalalithaa and M.K. Stalin had criticized opposition parties in the past, their comments never crossed the line of decorum.
Jawahirullah argued that a reply to the police department's demand for grants should focus on addressing members' requests and clarifying policy notes. Instead, he criticized the Chief Minister for using the platform to express political animosity.
