CPM state secretary Shanmugam has condemned Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay for making what he described as irresponsible remarks mocking the incident where the former Chief Minister suffered a broken jaw after being assaulted by police during the Emergency period. Shanmugam stated that such comments are highly objectionable.
Furthermore, the CPM leader criticized the Chief Minister’s response to questions regarding law and order, alleging that the official reply failed to provide any clear or adequate explanation on the matter.
