A commission led by retired judge Gokuldas has held officials from 12 government departments accountable for the 2024 illicit liquor tragedy in Kallakurichi, which resulted in 65 deaths. The inquiry report concluded that the officials failed to perform their duties and neglected to implement necessary preventive measures.
