Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam has announced its candidates for the upcoming assembly by-elections scheduled for October 6, 2026. The party will contest the polls under the Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance.
K. Maragatham Kumaravel, the party's deputy general secretary and a former MLA, has been fielded for the Madhuranthagam (Reserved) constituency. P. Sathyabama, the Tiruppur South-East district secretary and a former MLA, will contest from the Dharapuram (Reserved) constituency.
Party leader Vijay has called upon all party officials and volunteers to work toward securing a victory for the candidates in these constituencies.
