The Madurai district administration has issued strict guidelines for devotees attending the upcoming consecration ceremony at the Meenakshi Amman Temple. During the event, public access will be restricted to the four Aavani Moola streets. Individuals without authorized passes are prohibited from entering the Chithirai streets before 10:00 a.m. Furthermore, gathering on building rooftops to view the ceremony is strictly forbidden, and authorities have warned that building owners will face legal action for any violations.
General public darshan is scheduled to commence after 10:00 a.m. Devotees are instructed to enter the temple premises through the West and South towers. Upon completing their visit, they must exit through the East Rajagopuram.
