The legal wing of the Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has submitted a formal complaint to the Election Commission of India regarding remarks made by DMK president M.K. Stalin. The complaint alleges that the former Chief Minister mocked the party's candidate for the Dharapuram assembly constituency, Sathyabama, during an election campaign.
In addition to the Election Commission, the TVK legal team has addressed the complaint to the Director General of Police, the Chennai City Police Commissioner, and local election officials in Tiruppur district. The party has requested official action against the DMK leader for the alleged derogatory comments made during the by-election campaign.
