Five workers died and ten others sustained serious injuries following a boiler explosion at the TIL Healthcare pharmaceutical plant in Sri City, Tirupati district. Emergency response teams were immediately deployed to the site to conduct rescue operations and transport the injured for medical treatment.
State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha is scheduled to visit the location to assess the situation. Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has directed officials to provide the best possible care for the survivors and pledged government support for the affected families.
Tirupati MP Maddila Gurumoorthi expressed his condolences and called for a comprehensive investigation into the cause of the accident. Authorities are currently awaiting further information regarding the circumstances of the blast and the status of those hospitalized.
