The government has introduced the 'Vetri Special Vegetable Kit' to provide essential produce at affordable prices for the upcoming Diwali festival. Each kit, containing 10 varieties of vegetables, will be sold for 100 rupees.
The initiative will be implemented through 218 selected cooperative wholesale stores and retail outlets, alongside four mobile vegetable units in Chennai. According to the Department of Cooperation, the sale will be conducted from November 5 to November 7.
