To Prevent Anti National Elements -Resigns
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced his resignation from his post. In a statement, Pradhan cited the need to ensure that students remain focused on their studies and career development rather than becoming entangled in legal complexities. He expressed concern over recent developments and emphasized his commitment to preventing anti-national elements from exploiting the situation at Jantar Mantar and across the country. Pradhan noted that his primary focus during his tenure was the welfare of students and the integrity of the education system. He highlighted the government's response to irregularities in the May 3, 2026, NEET-UG examination, which included canceling the test, ordering a CBI investigation, and transitioning to a computer-based testing model for future exams. He stated that the re-examination was successfully conducted on June 21, 2026, with the cooperation of state and district administrations. Reflecting on his departure, Pradhan expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his guidance and support. He reaffirmed his dedication to serving the nation, the people of Odisha, and the youth of India, stating that he remains committed to the progress of the country.
