The President of India has accepted the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan from the Union Council of Ministers with immediate effect. The decision was made under clause (2) of Article 75 of the Constitution of India, as advised by the Prime Minister.
Following this change, the President has directed that Cabinet Minister Pralhad Joshi be assigned the additional charge of the Ministry of Education alongside his existing portfolio.
