Gold prices in Chennai saw a significant increase today, with the cost of a sovereign rising by 560 rupees. Following this hike, one sovereign of gold is now priced at 106,960 rupees.
The price per gram of gold has also increased by 70 rupees, bringing the rate to 13,370 rupees. Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady in retail trade, continuing to sell at 240 rupees per gram.
