Actor Dhanush has shared his reflections on his career and the National Awards. He recalled that during the release of 'Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam', he was quite young and had hoped for a National Award, which he did not receive. He noted that he also anticipated recognition for his performances in films such as 'Pudhupettai', '3', 'Mayakkam Enna', 'Maryan', 'Raanjhanaa', and 'Vada Chennai', but those expectations were not met.
Dhanush remarked that some achievements occur only when the time is right, regardless of the effort invested, and expressed gratitude that he has now secured the opportunity. Celebrating his latest wins as a Tamilian, he added, "Do not push me down; instead, pat my back and encourage me."
