Monthly pass rates at National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) toll plazas across Tamil Nadu have been increased for the third time this year, effective April 1. This adjustment follows the NHAI's policy permitting an annual toll hike of up to 5 percent.
Currently, there are 77 operational toll plazas throughout the state. Under the latest revision, the monthly pass fee for residents living within a 20-kilometer radius of these toll stations has been increased by 30 rupees.
