Gold prices in Chennai saw an increase today, with the rate for one sovereign of gold rising by Rs 240 to reach Rs 106,000. The price of gold per gram also climbed by Rs 30, settling at Rs 13,250. This uptick follows a period of price fluctuations driven by international economic conditions, the value of the US dollar, and ongoing geopolitical tensions.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady in the Chennai retail market. A gram of silver continues to be priced at Rs 235, while a kilogram of bar silver is trading at Rs 235,000.
