Southern Railway has announced schedule adjustments for the Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express (16127) to facilitate corridor maintenance and safety works in the Thiruvananthapuram Division. The train, which usually departs Chennai Egmore at 10:40, will experience delays on select dates throughout August and September 2026.
Delays are scheduled for 40 minutes on August 9 and 10; 45 minutes on August 11 and 12; 30 minutes on August 27 and 31; and 50 minutes on August 28, 29, and September 1 and 2. Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and may check the NTES or RailMadad portals or call the 139 helpline for further updates.
