Gold prices in Chennai saw a significant increase today, rising twice within a single day. The price of gold per sovereign climbed by Rs 1,280 in the morning and by another Rs 960 in the evening, marking a total daily increase of Rs 2,240.
Following these hikes, gold is currently trading at Rs 13,480 per gram, while a sovereign is priced at Rs 1,07,840. Meanwhile, the price of silver rose by Rs 5 in the morning to reach Rs 240 per gram, with no further changes reported in the evening.
