Agriculture Minister Vinoth has announced a new initiative aimed at soil conservation, with an allocated budget of Rs 122.51 crore. The project, spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture, focuses on preserving soil fertility through strategic interventions.
As part of this scheme, the government will distribute soil health cards to farmers. The minister confirmed that Rs 4 crore has been earmarked to provide these cards to one lakh farmers.
