The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has issued a clarification after an incorrect message reading 'Thakkali Vetri Kazhagam' appeared on the rear route display board of a Chennai city bus. Officials confirmed that the display was tampered with by unidentified individuals.
Following the circulation of images of the incident on social media, the MTC announced that it is intensifying monitoring of bus display systems. The corporation has also implemented additional precautionary measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
