Seven people were killed and 11 others injured when a private bus overturned in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. The accident occurred at approximately 7:15 a.m. in the Salunj Mor area along the Tissa-Bairagarh route.
Preliminary reports indicate the bus, which was carrying 18 passengers, lost control while navigating a turn on the mountain road. Emergency responders, including police and fire department personnel, conducted rescue operations at the scene.
All 11 injured passengers were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Six of those with severe injuries have since been transferred to a government hospital for advanced medical care.
