In an internal memo, CEO Julie Sweet urged employees to focus on serving clients and generating new sales to ensure a strong fourth quarter. She stated that shareholders are counting on the team to deliver, emphasizing that every employee can contribute to the company's final results.
The push for increased productivity follows a challenging period for Accenture, which saw a 2% drop in new bookings for the quarter ending May 31. The company is currently working to address investor concerns regarding its consulting business and the potential impact of artificial intelligence, as it aims to stabilize performance heading into the new fiscal year.
