Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay announced new medical initiatives under Rule 110 in the Legislative Assembly today. The government plans to construct an integrated cancer treatment facility at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai, featuring a ground floor and 14 additional levels at a cost of 471.80 crore rupees.
Additionally, a regional cancer center will be established at the Madurai Rajaji Hospital in the first phase. This project, estimated at 84 crore rupees, will consist of a ground floor and eight stories.
