The Karnataka government has ordered a CID investigation into the fatal shooting of three Tamil individuals. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar confirmed in Mysuru that the administration has received an initial investigation report regarding the incident.
Shivakumar noted that there is a strong suspicion the victims may have been shot from a very close range by forest department personnel. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the group's presence in the forest area and the items they were carrying.
The initial report contains several critical details, according to the Deputy Chief Minister. He stated that the full truth behind the incident will be revealed once the CID inquiry is completed.
