Mobile phones banned in 52 major Tamil Nadu temples

A ban on mobile phones inside 52 major temples across Tamil Nadu, including Tiruchendur, Tiruvannamalai, Tirupparankundram, and Srirangam, came into effect today. The directive is being implemented immediately across all designated sites.

To assist devotees, temple administrations have installed secure storage lockers at the premises. Officials have encouraged visitors to utilize these facilities to store their devices before entering the temples.
