The Tamil Nadu government has introduced a bill to amend existing legislation to facilitate single-window approvals for industrial projects within 21 days. Minister Keerthana presented the proposed amendment in the state assembly.
Under the new framework, the Tamil Nadu Investment Promotion Commission will be tasked with expediting necessary clearances for companies planning investments exceeding ₹200 crore. The initiative aims to streamline the regulatory process for large-scale industrial projects in the state.
