Opposition leader Udhayanidhi Stalin has raised concerns in the Legislative Assembly regarding the ongoing protests by sanitation workers. The employees have been demonstrating for 15 days, demanding that the DMK fulfill its election promise to provide permanent employment status and salary increases.
During the assembly session, Stalin questioned when the Chief Minister intends to address these demands. He further pressed the government on when the Chief Minister plans to meet with the protesting workers to discuss their grievances directly.
